Introduction:

Rolling bearing itself does not produce noise, bearing noise is a sound phenomenon caused by the vibration and collision of parts in the running process of bearings. The ratio of elastic vibration and strong vibration of bearing parts is solid sound, and the air vibration caused by solid sound in the range of sound frequency is bearing noise.

The vibration of rolling bearing is the root of bearing noise, and different bearing noise comes from different types of bearing vibration. Like the vibration of bearing, the generating mechanism of bearing noise is also very complicated.

According to the characteristics of bearing noise, bearing noise can be divided into the following forms:

The noise generated by bearing structure type, size and other factors is the basic noise: such as the noise generated by bearing elastic deformation, rolling body, clearance, cage and so on.

Noise caused by bearing surface effect: such as noise caused by roundness, ripness, roughness and defects of the inner and outer rings of bearings and the working surface of steel balls. A large number of experimental studies show that the ratio of surface quality of the outer ring, the inner ring and the steel ball on the bearing noise is 1:3:10, and the surface quality of the steel ball has the greatest influence on the noise of the deep groove ball bearing.

Noise generated by friction and lubrication: friction and lubrication have a great impact on the generation of rolling bearing noise, small friction, good lubrication state, bearing noise is small.

The "bearing noise" usually felt is in fact the sound effect of the vibration of the bearing directly or indirectly with the surrounding structure, which is why many times the noise problem can be regarded as a vibration problem involving the entire bearing application.
