Classification of rigid couplings:

The types of rigid coupling are introduced:
Sleeve coupling is also called integral rigid coupling, tightly set on the shaft can torque grip, compared with the screw type rigid coupling, it will not cause shaft damage and vibration wear. Clamp shell coupling, sometimes known as two clamping type rigid coupling or double groove coupling, in addition to the advantages of sleeve type rigid coupling, it also has the characteristics of easy disassembly and maintenance, and do not need to move other parts. Clamp shell type rigid coupling screw is reverse symmetrical installation, can _ good dynamic balance performance.
Compact rigid couplings, in narrow places, a widened shape of the shaft sleeve to replace the choice of rigid couplings, can be used as compact rigid couplings. Compared to rigid couplings, the torque transfer capacity of the widened type bushing is reduced because each connecting shaft is locked by a single hexagon head screw. But the compact structure of the widened bushing reduces its inertia, so it is an ideal choice for motion control applications.
