Gear coupling as transmission device of equipment
2023-10-10

The vibration damping performance of the gear coupling can be achieved by absorbing energy from rigid components,

thereby eliminating and reducing the mutual impact force of the teeth during vibration, and increasing the service life of

the entire gear coupling. The use of gear couplings is more reasonable in transmission devices where operation unevenness

is serious and assembly is inaccurate but rarely overloaded. This phenomenon will occur after long-term use of high speed

and high torque. The vibration damping performance of gear couplings can be achieved by absorbing energy from rigid

components, thereby eliminating and reducing the mutual impact force of the teeth during vibration. The reason for the

tooth matching is that the coupling itself has no hardness.

Heating to the specified temperature in the heating furnace and detecting the temperature of the workpiece. We took out

the coupling, turned it over, and put it in the furnace to continue heating. Such as using firewood to heat a large coupling.

After two or three hours, use the measuring rod to repeatedly measure the hole diameter until the measuring rod can freely

enter the coupling hole, and the heating is complete. Lift out the coupling and install the strike plate, lift or other set of tools.

The gear coupling has an oil hole drilled at the bottom of the outer gear tooth groove that communicates with the oil collection

groove. Using the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed operation of the gear coupling, the gear surface is not tempered

and dipped in fire, resulting in a reduction in the service life of the coupling.

We spray oil into the meshing area of the internal and external teeth to fully lubricate them. The vibration performance of the

gear coupling can be absorbed by the rigid components, thereby eliminating and reducing the mutual impact force of the teeth

during vibration, and improving the service life of the entire coupling. When overloaded, the safety pin is cut off and the torque

transmission stops. At this time, the pressure of the external teeth and the internal teeth causes axial movement, thereby pressing

the switch to cut off the motor. Long-term use of the internal and external teeth of the gear coupling will cause tooth wear and

tooth beating, which will affect the service life and increase the installation axial deviation and displacement.
