Selection principle:
1) Torque T: T↑, select rigid coupling, non-elastic components or flexible coupling with metal elastic components; T has impact vibration, choose flexible coupling with elastic element;
2) Rotational speed n: n↑, flexible coupling of non-metallic elastic components;
3) For neutral: for neutral rigid coupling, flexible coupling should be selected when compensation is required;
4) Assembly and disassembly: considering the convenience of assembly and disassembly, choose the coupling with direct radial movement;
5) Environment: If working at high temperature, do not choose a coupling with non-metallic components;
6) Cost: under the same conditions, try to choose low price, simple maintenance.
Coupling type selection:
1) Simple selection type of coupling: TC=KT=9550KPw/n
Calculation torque type:
TC -- calculated torque, N·m;
T -- theoretical (nominal) torque, N·m;
K -- working condition coefficient, see Table 18-1;
Pw -- Theoretical (nominal) working power, kW;
n -- working speed, r/mm;
2) Τc≤[n] -- nominal torque and allowable torque of τc coupling, N·m; See an opportunity
