At the junction of the shaft end of the traction motor and the shaft end of the reducer worm. The motor shaft and the worm shaft of the reducer are on the same axis. When the motor rotates, the worm shaft also rotates, but the two are two different parts. They need to be connected on the same axis by a suitable method to maintain the required synchronization. axis. The couplings that are mainly used generally include rigid couplings and elastic couplings.

  The connection of the coupling should be firm, and the connecting bolts and connecting keys are not allowed to be loose. The radial runout and end face runout of the rotating coupling should not be obvious during visual observation. When measuring with an instrument, the data cannot be measured. . When the rubber ring or cowhide pad of the elastic pin coupling is damaged, it should be replaced in time. If the pin and the hole are squeezed and vibration occurs, the half body should be rotated at an angle to re-drill the hole, and the standard new pin should be replaced. Expand the hole and replace it with a new pin.

When the transmission noise of the gear coupling increases or the equipment is overhauled, it should be disassembled for inspection, focusing on the following items:

     1. When the coupling bolt holes are severely worn, the mechanism will jump when it starts, or even cut off the bolts. Therefore, when the bolt holes are severely worn and cannot be repaired, they should be scrapped; when the tooth thickness is worn beyond 15%-20% of the original tooth thickness, it should be scrapped. scrapped.

     2. 15% for lifting mechanism and unbalanced luffing mechanism, 20% for other mechanisms; after the flat keyway is worn, the key is easy to loosen or even fall off. At the position where the original keyway on the shaft has turned 90° or 180°, a new keyway can be reopened, or a pad that does not exceed 15% of the pad thickness can be added to the key. It is not allowed to repair the keyway, and the keyway of the lifting mechanism is not allowed to be repaired;

     3. Any part of the coupling should be scrapped if there is a crack, and it should be scrapped if there is a broken tooth. In addition, check whether the oil seal of the coupling with the lubricating device is intact, whether the lubricating oil has deteriorated, and whether there is oil leakage. If the above problems occur, the seal or lubricating oil should be replaced, and when the lubricating oil is lacking, it should be replenished in time.

For the structure where the worm shaft adopts sliding bearings, a rigid coupling is generally used, because at this time, the fit gap between the shaft and the bearing is large, and the rigid coupling helps the stable rotation of the worm shaft. The rigid coupling requires a high degree of concentricity between the two shafts, and the non-concentricity after connection should not be greater than 0.02mm. The elastic coupling can automatically adjust the coaxiality between the motor shaft and the worm shaft within a certain range due to the elastic deformation of the rubber block in the coupling when the torque is transmitted, so it allows a larger concentricity during installation. Degree (tolerance 0.1mm), which makes installation and maintenance convenient, and at the same time, the elastic coupling has a slowing effect on the vibration in the transmission.
