Installation method of diaphragm coupling screws:
1、 Clean the inner hole of the diaphragm coupling and apply oil or lubricant.
2、 Insert the diaphragm coupling into the installation shaft; If the aperture is too tight, be careful not to use a hammer or hard metal to strike the installation.
3、 Tighten and fix according to the prescribed tightening torque.
4、 Tighten the fixing screws in sequence in the circumferential direction.
5、 When disassembling, please proceed with the device completely stopped; Loosen the locking screws one by one.
6、 After positioning is completed, gently tighten the screws diagonally using a torque wrench (with a specified tightening torque of 1/4).
7、 Increase the force (1/2 of the specified tightening torque) and repeat the action.
8、 Wipe off the dust and dirt on the surface of the installation shaft, and apply a thin layer of engine oil or lubricant along with it.
The gap between the bolt fitting section of the double diaphragm coupling and the flange small hole fitting section is generally 0.20mm to 0.30mm according to the bolt diameter. This fitting section plays a key role in transmitting torque, and if the gap exceeds the standard, it needs to be replaced. The gap between the inner hole of the buffer sleeve and the rivet of the diaphragm and the bolt diameter is 0.5mm to 0.7mm, which plays a role in compressing and positioning the diaphragm. If the bolt is installed in the wrong direction, it is easy to cause the bolt to deflect, and the diaphragm will twist and deform as a result. Therefore, when installing bolts, attention should be paid to the direction of the bolts. Do not install the bolts randomly, otherwise it will cause the diaphragm to twist. Long term operation will damage the surface of the diaphragm and bolt fitting section, as well as the small hole of the half shaft.
1、 When disassembling, first mark the position between the pulley or coupling and the shaft, tighten the factory fixed screws and pins, and then slowly pull out with a puller. If it cannot be pulled out, pour some kerosene into the inner hole before pulling. If it still cannot be pulled out, use a quick fire to heat around the pulley or coupling, while wrapping the shaft with a damp cloth and continuously pouring cold water to prevent heat from entering the interior of the motor.
2、 When assembling, first use a fine iron sandpaper to smooth the shaft holes of the shaft, pulley or coupling. Align the pulley or coupling with the keyway and fit it on the shaft. Place a piece of wrought iron or hardwood block on one end of the key, and gently tap the key into the groove. The key in the groove should be moderately tightened. If it is too tight or too loose, it will damage the key and groove. If it is too loose, it will also cause the belt to slip or vibrate.
After selecting the right coupling, it is necessary to install it. During installation, the position of the coupling should be adjusted correctly to achieve good alignment, which can prolong the service life of the coupling as much as possible.
The specific steps for adjusting the coupling correctly:
1、 Fix the outer support foot on one side of the coupling motor and move the inner support foot until the eccentricity line between the motor and the pump center is zero. To prevent the motor from moving freely, after fixing one side of the motor support, the other side should be supported with a top screw.
2、 Fix the inner support foot of the coupling and move the outer support foot to make the two centerlines eccentric to zero.
3、 After repeating the above two methods several times, the coupling can be in good alignment.
